The Week's End

As mentioned in one of my previous posts, my mum has managed to convince my dad to come to Europe whilst I am over there next year. We are currently going around in circles trying to plan a three week adventure, exploring places that will be new to all of us. We have decided to skip the south of France and drive through Switzerland, all the way to Alsace. I am super excited to visit this gorgeous part of France. Colmar, one of the towns we are thinking of staying in, looks absolutely beautiful. I added this town to my bucket list at the beginning of the year when I stumbled across a photo of it on Pinterest. I have been dreaming about it ever since and I can't wait to share my own photos of this beautiful part of the world!
Speaking of sharing photos, in 2012, I submitted a photo to an online photography group called See.Me. They have an annual photography competition in which chosen artists are featured in their printed catalogue. I just so happened to be featured. After a year of waiting for the catalogue to arrive, I started to think that perhaps it was not going to be published any more however much to my surprise, I received my copy in the mail! I was so excited to see my work in print! It is my first published feature and I am hoping not my last! You can see my online entry here. I will post some images of catalogue this week. In the meantime, below are some photos from last months photo shoot that I did for a Melbourne Based Jewellery company, Holdsworth Brothers. If you live in Melbourne, you can pick up one of their catalogues in stores now! Head to to find out where your closest store is!
